Pass Plus Course Modules

At EasyGo Driving School, our Pass Plus programme is divided into six practical modules. Each module is designed to strengthen your skills, increase confidence, and broaden your driving experience beyond the standard driving test.

Module 1: Introduction to Town & City Driving

This module focuses on developing confidence in busy urban environments, including:

• Dealing with heavy traffic and complex junctions
• Navigating one-way systems and multi-lane roads
• Managing pedestrian crossings and cyclist awareness
• Improving observation and forward planning in congested areas

Module 2: All-Weather Driving (Where Possible)

Driving conditions can change quickly, and this module prepares you to adapt safely. Training may include:

• Adjusting speed and braking distances in wet conditions
• Understanding the risks of ice, fog, and strong winds
• Improving vehicle control in reduced grip situations
• Making safe decisions in poor visibility

Module 3: Out of Town & Rural Roads

Country roads present very different challenges compared to urban areas. This module covers:

• Safe positioning on narrow and winding roads
• Anticipating hidden hazards such as sharp bends and animals
• Managing varying speed limits safely
• Overtaking where appropriate and safe

Module 4: Night Driving

If you passed your test without much night-time experience, this module builds confidence by focusing on:

• Correct and safe use of vehicle lights
• Identifying hazards earlier in low-light conditions
• Judging speed and distance in the dark
• Safe parking and manoeuvring at night

Module 5: Dual Carriageways

Higher-speed roads require good awareness and lane discipline. This module includes:

• Joining and exiting safely
• Safe overtaking techniques
• Maintaining correct lane positioning
• Judging speed and safe following distances

Module 6: Motorways

This final module develops confidence on the fastest roads in the UK, including:

• Entering and leaving motorways safely
• Lane discipline and traffic awareness
• Overtaking procedures
• Reading motorway signs and road markings
• Maintaining safe distances at higher speeds
